Garlic Parmesan Sauteed Green Beans
A healthy and tasty side to accompany almost anything!
- 1 lb fresh green beans, washed and trimmed
- 2 TBS olive oil
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced (you can use frozen or jarred garlic)
- 3 TBS light butter
- 2 TBS water
- Fresh ground pepper
- Grated parmesan cheese
Heat olive oil and garlic over med-high heat until fragrant, about 4 min. Add green beans and stir to coat.
Add 3 TBS light butter on top of green beans.
Cover pan and sauté on high med-heat for about 10 minutes, stir, add 2 TBS water.
Continue to sauté for another 10 minutes, tossing every few minutes until green beans start to brown.
Taste for doneness and continue heating on medium heat until done. Turn burner off and add fresh grated pepper and grated parmesan on top.
